Tahun ini SBS kembali mengadakan perhelatan terbesarnya yaitu SBS Drama Awards 2019, dimana perhelatan tersebut diadakan pada tanggal 31 Desember yang lalu. Perhelatan tersebut dibawakan oleh Jang Nara dan Shin Dong Yup. "The Fiery Priest" membawa pulang delapan penghargaan secara total, termasuk aktor utama Kim Nam Gil yang menerima Daesang (hadiah utama) untuk pertama kalinya dalam karirnya.
